What's in a name? The Python Peel works by removing retained skin in a manner comparable to how a snake sheds its skin: completely, rapidly, and with satisfying results. This exclusive treatment at Sydney Dermal Lounge uses a unique blend of effective clinical ingredients to rejuvenate the skin and target common concerns from the inside out.
Unlike a standard chemical peel, the Python does not cause gradual flaking. It prompts a rapid, complete peel-back of the skin, achieving ultimate regeneration in a single treatment cycle.
The Python Peel is formulated for all skin types. It is particularly suited to clients seeking significant improvement across multiple concerns: pore refinement, hyperpigmentation, acne control and scar prevention, and melasma correction.
Python is a clinical peel that is applied to the skin and left in place for 6 to 8 hours. During this time the formulation penetrates deeply, encouraging the skin to self-regulate and initiate a complete peeling cycle.
Unlike the gradual flaking of standard peels, the Python generates a rapid, sheet-like shedding of the epidermis beginning around day 3 and completing by day 6 or 7. The treatment is more powerful than most peels but without the associated pain or extended downtime.
Downtime begins on day 3 and concludes around day 7. The peeling involves a sloughing of thin epidermal sheets rather than gradual flaking, and this process typically completes by day 6 or 7.
This treatment is more powerful than most peels but involves significantly less pain and downtime than ablative laser options. Follow your prescribed aftercare instructions and allow the skin to shed naturally without interference.
Phase 1
Skin is stabilised through calming inflammation and barrier function repair. Some technologies and methods include the Lutronic DermaV, the SDL Glass Skin Method, and controlled chemical support.
Phase 2
Targeted device-based treatments are clinically introduced, spaced and layered. Technologies such as the PicoSure Pro may be used for laser toning, pigment management, resurfacing, and texture improvement.
Phase 3
The focus shifts to refining skin tone, pore quality, and smoothness. This phase may involve the Lutronic LaseMD Ultra alongside SDL's depigmentation protocols.
Phase 4
Structured skin maintenance is designed to help sustain results and support skin long-term. This may include regenerative treatments, periodic laser toning, and hydrating chemical support.
